i. you remind me of a star; beautiful, bright, brilliant.
sometimes i wonder if i'm seeing you, when i'm lying in the dark; star-gazing,
but maybe i'm not.
maybe you're more than a star?
maybe you're a comet, a moon, a planet, a universe, a galaxy?
maybe you're an 'everything'?
my 'e v e r y t h i n g'?
[& even if you don't think so, i know that you are.]
ii. i think everyone dreams.
some people just don't remember.
[or maybe they just don't want to remember.]
sometimes, i hope not to, though,
because i know that any dream i have will be of you,
& i know, i'd never want it to end.
how could i not dream of you?
how could i ever forget a dream of you?
i can't even pretend to.
iii. when it's bright out, i look to the sky,
& try to reach the sun; it reminds me of you.
i can't ever seem to reach it, not even standing on my toes.
[though, i still wonder if you know how much you brighten my day?]
you're always on my mind; day and night.
iv. there's only so much i can write.
but, i hope you know, i'd write a million and one words for you; probably more.
[i'm afraid i'd never be able to tell you how much you mean to me, though.]
there's not a word, or even a phrase, that can describe you.

The technique is new to me. The numbered paragraphs and the 'kinda' tone difference each time, still cool though
I think the category is right. Where else could it be?!
One thing, your use of the word "planet", I guess, is not very appropriate. Coz a planet means a dark object unlike the sun, the stars and most comets.
Another thing, you said "... [I] try to reach the sun; it reminds me of you. i can't ever seem to reach it, not even standing on my toes."
Well, it sounds like the speaker is not actually doing his best. Standing on his toes?!!!
What happened to climbing mountains
I mean, you should have used something more powerful.
All in all, it's a nice piece, one that I enjoyed reading. And who cares about the caps?! It's about what you feel. You felt it this way, then this is how it must be.
