My Everythingi. you remind me of a star; beautiful, bright, brilliant.  sometimes i wonder if i'm seeing you, when i'm lying in the dark; star-gazing,  but maybe i'm not.  maybe you're more than a star?  maybe you're a comet, a moon, a planet, a universe, a galaxy?  maybe you're an 'everything'?  my 'e v e r y t h i n g'?  [& even if you don't think so, i know that you are.]

BruiseA blotch of blue lay across my skin.  It reminds me of something distant and far.  Remember, when you spoke of the colors that suited me?   
"Black and blue," you said, striking my cheek.   
Although, it never turned black, nor blue, you admired the pinkish tone that arose.  I remember. You would gracefully trace the imprint with your fingertips, and lean in  closer.   
"I love you," you would say.   
Stinging and tingling, I would bring my hand upward, and wipe away the streaks of tears.   
"I love you too," I would say.   
Oh, how I wish the memory would wash it Bruise

But Baby, it's all because...I see you...  as clear as day.  You see me...  as bright as the sun.   
I hear you...  like an orchestra of bells.  You hear me...  like the birds of spring.   
I feel you...  as my hands intertwine  with yours.  You feel me...  as your arms tighten  
around my waist.   
I smell you...  as I press my nose  to the base of your neck  and run it down your chest.  You smell me...  as you twirl my hair and  send that perfume scent  
wafting around you.   
I taste you...  as my lips fit against your  sun-kissed But Baby, it's all because...
